Compared to the GSR 750, the middle-class bike will have improved abilities AND another engine with more power.

The motor is well-known by Suzuki fans. The manufacturer took an engine from a K5 GSX-R 750.
As well as on her bigger sister, the Gsx s 1000, Suzuki decreased the power output of the gsxr-engine. So now it has around 114 hp, instead of around 150, but this is 12 hp more like on the GSR. To make your ride more comfortable, Suzuki has also fitted a traction control, which is adjustable in 3 different Levels.
Mode 1 is for the sporty ride, Mode 2 for the daily use and Mode 3 for wet and slippery roads.

For the sporty ride, Suzuki changed the rear sprocket from 42 to 43 teeth to get better acceleration values.
Furthermore, the Gsxs has a Low RPM Assist. This mechanism help raise engine rpm slightly in launching and riding at low speed, this means it’s easier to pull away and easier to control the engine in stop-start traffic.
